North East Medical College Paves the Way for Global Standards in Medical Education.

Under the dynamic supervision and visionary guidance of our Principal and Managing Director, Prof. Dr. Shahriar Hussain Chowdhury, North East Medical College continues to raise the bar in medical education.
A team of distinguished faculty members, led by Vice Principal and Head of Dept. Of Medicine Prof. Dr. A.F.M Nazmul Islam along with Prof. Dr. Md. Nazmul Islam (Head of Dept. Of Nephrology), Prof. Dr. Alamgir Adil Samdany (Head of Dept. Of Orthopaedics), Prof. Dr. Avijit Das (Head of Dept. Of Microbiology), Dr. Fuad Reajwan Kabir (Associate Professor, Dental Anatomy), and Dr. Chowdhury Mohammed Tawhid Tasneef (Senior Lecturer, Dept. Of Forensic Medicine); recently attended the prestigious International Conference on Accreditation for Quality Medical Education at Hotel Intercontinental, Dhaka.
At the seminar, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Ricardo León Bórquez, President of the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), outlined key strategies for ensuring the highest standards of accreditation. With the collective insights of global education leaders, North East Medical College is more committed than ever to enhance its academic infrastructure to align with global accreditation standards.
This seminar marks a significant milestone in our journey towards international recognition with the collaborative effort between Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA), Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), and the World Health Organization (WHO). These partnerships are crucial in ensuring highest international standards in education and healthcare, ensuring that our students receive world-class medical education that meets and exceeds global expectations.
